1. Crossing the hills, coats coloured dark came here to roam
Heat of the dunes was sweeping in from the unknown
Greeting the dawn – horns triumphant sounded their march
Trail of our dreams would follow them, guided by stars!

Behold – unfolding of the sun, thy desert jewel
reborn – our centuries entwined while storms of Set arrive
Rest where darkness glow
Come – thy secrets down below
of prophets bring – oh sing brethren dark, give us of thy art –

2. Serpentine eyes touched human skin, pale and divine
Thus did they speak of coiling sin – blackened, enshrined
dragons who guard deep in our minds treasures beyond
And so eclipsed, procession black kept marching on.
